How to Use Orange Floating Candles to Liven Up Your Table!
Orange! A bright color that certainly can be used year round to liven up spaces in your very own home, but with the use of some fall orange leaves and orange floating candles, remember this look for your fall decorating needs! What you will need:
- Cylinder Vase – you can choose the height depending on where it will be used.
- Silk Orange leaves or flowers
- Orange Floating Candles
- Water
Steps:
Step 1:Grab your cylinder vase
Step 2:Use some store bought silk leaves or flowers and take the time to twirl them around your fingers to create a vine type look. Then gently place them down into the cylinder vase.
Step 3:Pour water over the leaves. Make sure to not fill too full so your floating candle flame will fall below the lip of the top of the vase.
Step 4:Take your orange floating candles, and holding by the wick, gently place in the water making sure the wicks do not get wet. Grab a match or lighter and light the candles.
There is something so simple & classic about using the same color within design! This monochromatic look will not only liven up anywhere it’s placed but will delight guests who come through your door!
Using Cylinder Vases in table pieces or centerpieces with something immersed in the water creates an instant focal point! The magnifying quality of the glass brings the items placed inside almost to life! And adding the lovely candle flame on top just adds to the intrigue!
One of the tips we love from Joel is that once he shows us how to put together a table piece, he also gives us a few ideas to complete the look! With this video, he tells us to use in combination with other vases! Take your signature vase and add other vases around it with fresh flowers, more candles, or some of your favorite pieces of glass!
