How to Use White Floating Candles to Enrich your Outdoors!
Entertaining outdoors with candle light provides a sparkling ambiance! Choosing white candles adds to the crispness of the look and the cool shine of candle glow. What you will need:
- Cylinder Vase
- Acrylic Diamond Vase Fillers
- Wine Glasses
- White Floating Candles
- Water
- Mirror
Steps:
Step 1:Start with placing your mirror in the desired spot, making sure the mirror is clean to enhance the reflection.
Step 2:Grab your wine glasses and your cylinder vase.
Step 3:Fill all of your containers with acrylic diamonds to the level you would like. This is a personal preference. Pour in some and see how you like them and add or remove until you have your perfect look.
Step 4:Pour water over the vase fillers. Make sure to not fill to full so your floating candle flame will fall below the lip of the top of the vase or glass. And since you are using these outdoors, we would suggest a little lower to protect the open flame from outdoor elements.
Step 5:Take your floating candle, and holding by the wick, gently place in the water making sure the wick does not get wet. Grab a match or lighter and light the candles.
Step 6:Take the excess acrylic diamonds and scatter around the table and on top of the mirror.So much to love about this design but the clean, crisp, sparkling glimmer and shimmer that this look produces makes for a beautiful nighttime setting!
Not only are the cylinder vases and candles once again the perfect match with this look with the acrylic diamonds. Joel has paired several other elements into this look to amp it up! Most of us have the other products used on hand, so once again we are not showing you an idea that will cost a lot of money!
Joel’s tip of using a mirror to spread the candle light about the space is one you can use in design every time! Mirrors give a unique perspective while reflecting from the bottom up so not only do you see the beauty from above but you see alternate views from different locations around the space.
Another tip is to mix and match sizing and elements! From sizes of candle holders to throwing in a modern twist on top of a wooden rustic table, this look Joel created combines acrylics and wood to clear glass to crisp white candles to mirrors and the outcome is simply spectacular!
